Schu aiming to bounce back quickly

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER has vowed to shake off the “bad experience” of Monaco and return to winning ways on home soil this weekend.

Schu aiming to bounce back quickly

Schumacher admits he was annoyed with Juan Pablo Montoya following the tunnel incident at Monte Carlo which led to the six-time world champion crashing out and retiring for the first time in 19 races.

But the 35-year-old German, who had won the first five races of the season, later exonerated the Colombian of deliberately trying to knock him out of the race and is just relieved he will quickly be back on track.

For the first time this season races are back to back, and Schumacher heads to the Nurburgring, in his homeland, for the European Grand Prix. And he has vowed to scrap for the win: “I always look forward to racing at the Nurburgring, but more so this time.”
