Dore and O’Driscoll win at Larkspur Park

Low handicappers Mary Dore (-4) and Colum O’Driscoll (-3), Parteen, returned an excellent 12 up to win the National Mixed pitch and putt Foursomes title at Larkspur Park, Cashel yesterday.

Another low handicap pairing, Eleanor Walsh (-4) and Joe Flood (scratch), Fermoy, finished runners-up, only one stroke behind with a superb 11 up. Bríd Ryan and Noel Joyce of Hillview, Clonmel, won the gross award with nine up. The special over-50s prizewinners were Bríd and Paddy Logan (St Bridget’s, Kilcummin, Kildare).
