Ireland won their second group tie in a row at the Women’s World Squash Team Championships in Amsterdam yesterday.

Following their 2-1 win over the Swiss on Monday, they beat Germany 2-1 to lie second in their group behind title holders Australia.

Madeline Perry beat Kathrin Rohrmueller 9-2 9-1 9-0. Anna McGeever came from one down to defeat Katharine Witt 6-9 9-5 9-2 9-5, while Aisling Blake was beaten 8-10 9-2 9-5 9-5 by Karin Beriere.
