Motor mouth Eddie revs up war of words

EDDIE IRVINE fuelled his war of words with David Coulthard yesterday when he told him: ‘‘Stop being a fag.’’

The two grand prix racers have been at loggerheads since Irvine claimed in his newspaper column recently that Coulthard's hopes of ever becoming world champion were over.

Irvine also said the 31-year-old Scot had been outperformed by new McLaren-Mercedes team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.
