Battling Schu determined to win in Monaco

WORLD champion Michael Schumacher expects a tough time in Monaco this weekend, but warned his rivals: “Giving up is not an option.”

The Ferrari driver has suffered a terrible start to the season and has just 10 points from five races, leaving him trailing 34 points adrift of championship leader Fernando Alonso.

Schumacher’s cause this weekend will not be helped by his first qualifying position. As a result of his Spanish retirement, Schumacher will be fourth out on track on Saturday, when the street circuit is likely to be dusty and noticeably slower.
