Clare won the National Surf Lifesaving Championships for their second consecutive year on Whitestrand, Miltown Malbay on Saturday.

Mayo finished second with Donegal and Galway in joint third.

Leitrim won the Novice competition whilst Kilkenny won the best inland County. Niamh Moran from Kildare won the Endeavour Award.
