Schumacher may face ban after ignoring Brazil warning flag

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER could face a race ban this season after ignoring warning flags when he crashed out of the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.

The five-time world champion has been reported after he slid out at the treacherous corner three at Interlagos 12 days ago almost hitting a recovery truck which was clearing another car.

Schumacher's crash came despite double yellow warning flags being shown telling the drivers to slow down and be prepared to stop to ensure the safety of marshals working in that area of the circuit.
