Munster double

The Munster men’s team of Patrick Foster, John Hurley, Phil Cullinane, Brian Knox, Kevin Knox and Martin McDonnell won the Interprovincial Squash Championships in Cork beating the holders Ulster 4-1, Leinster 3-2 and Connacht 4-1.

Munster completed a Men’s double in winning the ‘B’ competition as well, with the team of Dermot MacNamara, Conor O’Donoghue, Dan Long, Brian Healy and Ken O’Keeffe beating Connacht 4-1 and Leinster 3-2.

In the women’s event, the Connacht team of Aisling Blake, Laura Mylotte, Anna McGeever, Sarah Thornton and Norrie O’Grady had wins of 5-0 over Munster, Leinster and champions Ulster.
