In 2027, Cork and Limerick will begin their National League campaigns in Division One and Four respectively.Â
This should point to the gulf in quality between the two sides facing off in Sunday's opening round of the Munster SFC. It is only three years since both sides shared Division Two league status, and Cork only have to look to last year to be forewarned for the potential battle that lies ahead.Â
