Fogarty Forum: GAA struggling to find right balance when it comes to streaming games

“Have you seen him?” asked the photographer. It was the question most people were asking in Croke Park on Saturday as GAA president Jarlath Burns revealed at the outset of Special Congress that Football Review Committee (FRC) chairman Jim Gavin was in the building (but not necessarily the room).
To ensure the focus was firmly on football, GAA director general Tom Ryan revealed they had chosen to bench the man who has led football to the light these past 20 months. Before the man benched himself from the presidential election following a rental controversy from 16 years ago.
