Kieran Shannon: Munster format tweak is right, but timing is wrong

Munster football needed reform to restore credibility, but rushing through seeding changes without notice risks alienating counties already struggling

Two things can be true at once.

If the Munster football final, for decades one of the stellar fixtures in the entire GAA calendar, was to remain or rather regain any relevance or credibility, then Munster Council had to make some kind of intervention.
