Seánie McGrath: The Cork dressing room should be ravenous for Munster medals

Cork confidence will not have been fully restored by the victory over Waterford, but there has to be a contented air in training this week at having achieved two big goals.

Prior to Sunday, Cork had already shown us their capacity to respond to and extricate themselves from dodgy situations.

The most obvious and most recent example was last year’s Munster round-robin where, after a pair of narrow defeats, Cork were gone unless they prevailed over Limerick.
