First up, now that Andy Farrell has declared his hand, an overview of his long debated and much anticipated Lions selection.

From a parochial stance, a record number of Irish in his Lions tour party is pleasing given the number of times we’ve been in the minority. On my last Lions sojourn as a player to Australia in 1989, only four Irish made a squad of 30 players.
