Focused Bohane edges out Cooney around Conna
Michael Bohane was sharp and focused in his win over James Cooney at Conna on Sunday.
He reached the Priest’s corner with a good first shot. Cooney’s bowl was left, but it hopped right and went over the bridge parapet into the Bride. That left him almost a bowl down. Bohane’s second was too tight to the kerb and Cooney beat it well to close the gap. Bohane’s next hopped the kerb and Cooney kept the lead well under a bowl.
