Aidan Desmond was an impressive winner over Seán Twomey in the Munster Junior C semi-final at Templemichael on Sunday.

He now faces Michael Barry in the Munster final at Whitechurch on Saturday. It is preceded by the Munster Novice I final between Daniel Murphy and Garret Bourke.

Twomey opened with a great bowl to take the first tip by 50m. Desmond reached the farm with his second, Twomey’s reply went right and beat that tip by just 20m. Desmond won the next exchange, with neither player making sight.
