CCCC’s dramatic schedule would make TV gold

It remains a mystery why RTÉ hasn’t cashed in on the Irish people’s love of nostalgia.

This column has long believed that the broadcaster should be launching a new channel, ideally called RTÉ Nostalgia.

The channel could show endless episodes of All-Ireland Gold, old Cathal O’Shannon documentaries, Glenroe, and Where in the World with Theresa Lowe on a Sunday evening.
