Martin Coppinger turns on the power in Bantry
He opened with a serious first throw that gave him almost a bowl of odds. He raised the bowl with his second. Mullins settled after this and clipped the lead to just 30m at the waterworks. Mullins got a poor shot from there though and Coppinger quickly took control. He put the issue beyond doubt with three massive shots in the last quarter.
Mullins can still stay in the 2015 race if he beats Séamus Sexton at Lyre.
