The first thing we found out was that War Command is clearly nowhere near as good as he looked when winning the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot by six lengths.

We all know the form of that Coventry isn’t working out at all, but one was still inclined to think that this horse was a possible star of the future , so impressive was he.
