Chasing the highs only Friday Night Lights can bring

Riley Cooper did his growing up in Oklahoma City and Clearwater, Florida before playing at one of the American south’s college football behemoths, the University of Florida.

In order to pursue his NFL dream, he moved north to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010 and forged out a middling career as a back-up wide receiver.

Last month, a video emerged of a fairly inebriated Cooper being denied backstage access during a Philadelphia performance of country singer Kenny Chesney.
