Hunger not key factor in reaching All-Ireland

Whatever happens tomorrow, let’s not put it down, once more, to the hunger, whether it be serious, fierce or even savage.

Or the hurt.

If it’s Tipp’s day, can we try not to dwell too much on how they found themselves on that Bere Island boot camp, relocated their soul under the sandbags? If Kilkenny do it, might we resist the urge to attribute mystical powers of appetite regeneration to the locking of the Nowlan Park gates?
