Central City could be a real winner at stud

Question: What Coursing Derby winner was not eligible to contest a Coursing Bred stake on the track?

It would make a most interesting quiz question in years to come but it sums up the happenings at Clonmel last week. But the coursing bred stakes which are run at such tracks as Tralee, Kilkenny, Dundalk and even Shelbourne Park in conjunction with the Sporting Press Irish Oaks are all geared for greyhounds by recognised coursing sires.
