Leger treat at Limerick

THESE may be depressing times but for greyhound followers there is some consolation in the quality of racing being staged countrywide.

This week, for example, we have the second round of the Kerry Agribusiness Irish St Leger at Limerick, the second round of the Comerford Cakes National Puppy Stake at Shelbourne, the Champion Bitch Stake at Thurles and the Tote Gold Collar at Harolds Cross.

The St Leger, of course, tops the bill and there are some intriguing clashes on Saturday night - action which can be enjoyed courtesy of Inter Track.
