Laurels glory beckons for Tyrur Enda

THIS week is one of the big occasions in Irish greyhound sport with the final of the Pat Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park on Saturday. There will be a splendid all-sponsored supporting card.

Punters should note it’s a 7.30pm start.

The general view is that the top prize will go to either Tyrur Enda or Tubbertelly Dubh and they have been drawn alongside each other in the two inside traps. These are two dogs with sizzling early pace but the blue jacket would seem to give Tyrur the upper hand.
