TODAY Conor Counihan and his management team will put the euphoria of Sunday’s semi-final win behind them and start thinking and planning for September 19 – the only date that matters now for this Cork outfit.

They will realise on analysing the DVD that there still are a lot of questions that need answering. In many ways this is an ideal situation to be in.

A semi-final is there to be won, nothing else. The champagne football can wait. All that counts is the result. They don’t want to be the finished article today, as they were last year.
