Fahy has staggering 19 Derby entries

IT is every greyhound person’s dream to have a runner in the Ladbrokes.com Irish Derby but Galway owner P.J. Fahy is not the typical owner.

When the draw for the premier classic in the greyhound world is made at Shelbourne Park on Tuesday next there will be no fewer than 19 dogs in the hat bearing the famed Tyrur prefix used by Fahy.

The huge Fahy entry yesterday morning brought the total of entries in the book for the Derby to 120 with a day and a half to go before the closing date this evening.
