Katie cruises to easy win

CRUISING KATIE, the only horse Richard Cotter from Ballynoe, Co Cork, has in training did him proud when taking the Greenmount Annual Members’ Novice Chase at Limerick yesterday.

She won her previous race – also on this track in May – when the leader, Trimbellina, fell at the final fence.

The daughter of Beneficial needed no such luck on this occasion, powering well clear in the closing stages for Patrick Mangan.
