Sponsors to join forces for bonanza Laurels final night

THIS year’s Irish Laurels at Curraheen Park will be sponsored by Pat Hennerty Sales Ltd, while nine other sponsors will join forces in supporting the other races on what promises to be a remarkable final night.

In recent years the Laurels has been sponsored by Cashmans Bookmakers and it is nice to see Liam Cashman still associated with the night as one of the sponsors on the undercard.

While full details have yet to be confirmed, it looks as though the Hennerty Sales Irish Laurels will be one of the most valuable competitions in the Irish calendar behind the Derby. It has been stated that the prize for the winner should be in excess of €35,000 which would reverse the current trend of reduced prizemoney for all major competitions.
