The West Clare men have won the Clare senior championship on four occasions since 2002 and this side is built on the back of six domestic U21 successes since 2001.

They have some fine players in their ranks, especially guys like Darren Hickey who was AIB Munster club player of the year, Martin McMahon and a half-back line of Shane Hickey, Enda Coughlan and Declan Callinan.
