Money talks as gambled on Slieveardagh does the business

EDWARD O’GRADY ran two in the Metal Man Novice Hurdle at Tamore yesterday and they totally dominated the finish.

His Diophas was put in as the odds-on favourite, but sustained support for stable companion Slieveardagh - 3-1 to 15-8 - saw him drift to 11-10.

The money was right with Slieveardagh scoring by two and a half lengths and, indeed, was value for more than that.
