THE Kevin Commins owned and trained Ferdia Bound was fastest in the semi-finals of the IGB National 750 at Shelbourne on Saturday.

He came from a long way back to beat long time leader Tyrur Chris by three parts of a length in 41.65.

In the second semi the Paul Hennessy trained Group Skater hit the front before the fifth bend and went on to beat strong staying Rough Quest by two lengths in 42.02.
