Angry Fans

The Examiner’s football correspondent Liam Mackey likes a good argument when he hears it, and he’s got strong views of his own. Today, and every Tuesday, he will be acting as referee on your opinions on the Premiership.

Angry Fans

Let him know what you think and he’ll argue the toss with you. We’ll be offering a free sports prize to the star contribution each week. Today there’s argument over Showdown Sunday; a debate about David James and hair; wonder whether a rush of new money at Upton Park will be a mixed blessing; argue for the abolition of the back pass; wonder why there’s been so little fuss about Jarosik’s dive and big up Bobby Robson.

Letter of the week goes to Mike from Cork for not dragging us down to the level of debating the retro hairstyle of David James. Let’s have the postal address please Mike.

Anthony Courtney, Dublin, by email

OUR SHOUT: Good old Cork Blue. Have a red card for bringing Willy the Shake into disrepute. As for man of the match, while I wouldn’t quibble about Cole, surely the Man U midfielder in the running was Paul Scholes.
