HE CHASM between Leinster and the other provinces has been a running theme throughout this season. It’s the same case every year, you might say, but it has shifted to another level now.
It has manifested in various ways: the signing of All Blacks Jordie Barrett and Rieko Ioane on half-season deals; Sam Prendergast waltzing into Ireland’s starting XV so quickly; an aggregate score of 114-0 in the first two knockout rounds of the Champions Cup.Â
