It’s been an interesting week. The minute I turned my phone on last Wednesday, I was inundated with text messages inquiring about Clayton McMillan, Munster’s new appointment as head coach.

While I knew the name well, I couldn’t quite place him at first. When I saw his mugshot however, I recognised him immediately. If physical presence is a requirement to make an impression in the dressing room these days, the new man won’t be found wanting. Suffice to say, the former Wellington police officer cuts an imposing figure.
