If you didn’t know the Munster senior hurling championship was a parallel dimension by now, the statistics guide you to that very conclusion.
On Sunday, the team with the worst home record in the Munster senior hurling championship round-robin face the team that have not lost to the same team at that venue in 10 years or four meetings. In other words, last year’s All-Ireland champions Tipperary meet runners-up and Munster victors Cork in Thurles.
