Confidence. Confidence to take with them to Ennis. Confidence when heading into the All-Ireland champions’ backyard. Confidence to try and correct Cork’s losing championship run against Clare. Confidence to try and correct last July’s decider defeat.

Sunday’s League final, as should have already been apparent, is important for so much beyond Sunday.
