Fogarty Forum: O’Hanlon is more than a rallying call for Dublin

Listening to the tributes of former players, it is clear just how valuable Shane O’Hanlon was to the Dublin cause.

On TG4 last Saturday week and again on RTÉ seven days later, Ciarán Kilkenny spoke eloquently about recently deceased Dublin selector Shane O’Hanlon.

“After the first two games, we were very disappointed with the performances,” he opened. “Shane O’Hanlon really inspired us then. It helped us to understand how much this means to us, to represent Dublin, to represent our people and someone like Shane.
