EY Ireland partners with CrowdStrike to strengthen cyber resilience in the agentic era

EY Ireland and CrowdStrike today announced a strategic collaboration to help organisations across Ireland strengthen cyber resilience, defend against cyberattacks powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and securely accelerate the adoption of agentic AI.
As cyber threats become faster, more sophisticated and increasingly automated, organisations across every industry and sector – public and private – are under growing pressure to protect critical services, maintain operational continuity and engineer resilience.
The collaboration brings together EY Ireland’s cyber transformation, resilience, risk and managed services experience with CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon platform to help organisations identify emerging threats, strengthen security operations and build greater resilience. As adversaries weaponise AI and organisations adopt AI, cloud technologies and increasingly interconnected digital operating models, the time between exposure and impact is rapidly shrinking, creating new challenges for organisations and their boards as they seek to manage cyber risk and strengthen operational resilience.

Compliance with frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA remains important, but resilience must go further. Organisations need to demonstrate that critical services can continue operating under pressure.

Together, these services will help clients move from fragmented and reactive security models towards a more integrated and intelligence-led approach to cyber resilience.
Cyber resilience is no longer measured solely by an organisation’s ability to prevent or detect an incident. It is increasingly defined by its ability to anticipate disruption, protect its most critical services and make effective decisions under pressure to maintain trust. This demands a shift from resilience as a collection of plans and controls to resilience as an organisational capability. Technology, people, governance, operating models and third-party dependencies must work together to strengthen organisational resilience and protect critical services.
