Munster maths and science festival pencilled in for Mallow in  October

Organisers of the Munster Maths and Science Festival, which takes place in Mallow and has previously attracted 5,000 people, have said they intend to host this year's event on October 11.

The festival, which was inaugurated in 2010 by Mallow Development Partnership, will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year - but will do so in very unusual circumstances.
