We often think a gorgeous day would be be ideal for an interiors photoshoot but if the sunlight is glaring through the windows it can create all sorts of unwelcome shadows. This was the first revelation on my initiation into the world of photoshoots. 

The second was the sheer hard labour that is sometimes involved moving furniture and breaking an unexpected sweat in the process, and the need to wear trainers, not high heels.
