Collectors will be spoiled for choice as the winter selling season reaches its zenith thanks to big sales by Aidan Foley in Killarney, Sheppard's in Durrow and Lynes & Lynes in Carrigtwohill next week, with an array of astonishing and rare lots.

There is much to see and appreciate, from the finest of Irish furniture to a complete apothecary cabinet, a bronze stag, Patek Philippe and Rolex watches and even a Great Seal of Ireland of Henry VIII on vellum dated 1544.
