Halloween decor tips for small homes

It's time to lean into the spirit of this holiday

Pumpkins are a Halloween staple, and for the storage-challenged among us, they bring the huge benefit of rotting away after the holidays are over.

I adore Halloween. I don’t love every aspect of it - I’d be happier if fireworks weren’t going off and scaring our dogs for example - but I’m largely a fan and I am personally thrilled that we as a nation are leaning more heavily into the spirit of this particular spooky holiday. 

It is originally Irish after all, so we should celebrate it proudly. I also love any holiday that involves eating lots of sugar, dressing up in ridiculous costumes, and not feeling pressured to host or visit anyone. I also love that I can decorate my home as much or as little as I please, with no expectation for anything to look festively perfect.
