A word of caution to any big bad wolves loitering around Berrings, Co Cork: The new straw house constructed in the locality by builder and carpenter Liam Walsh is not likely to be blown down any time soon.
It might even prove to be impossible to find as on approach there’s no discernible difference between it and the 100-year-old stone cottage to which it is an addition, bought by Liam and his wife Clara in 2019.
