ART EXHIBITION
The annual Members Exhibition now underway at the Lavit Gallery in Cork features 92 works from 72 artists.The exhibition runs until March 7.

ANTIQUES AUCTIONS
More than 700 lots will be auctioned by RJ Keighery at his City Auction Rooms in Waterford at 10.30am next Monday.
Lots include an 18-carat white gold diamond tennis bracelet, engravings of Trajan’s Column and Roman views, a pair of marble fluted pedestals, an inlaid bureau and a 12-drawer haberdashery chest.
Viewing is from noon to 5pm today and tomorrow.
There will be an on-the-premises auction at Dowdstown House, Dalgan Park, Navan, Co Meath, on this day week.
Auctioneer Oliver Usher will offer lots on behalf of the Columban Fathers as well as contents from the Holy Faith Convent in Celbridge.Viewing is on Thursday.
A total of 424 lots will come under the hammer at Reilly’s Antiques, Prosperous, Co Kildare, at noon today.
The sale will include contents from the Parochial House at Clara, Co Offaly.
Meanwhile, there will be a classic and contemporary interiors sale at Mullen’s, Laurel Park in Bray, next Monday.
CORK EVENT
Viewing gets underway at Woodwards in Cork today for a sale scheduled for 11am next Saturday.
It will feature contents from Cork houses on College Road and St Luke’s including a Georgian walnut sofa table, a Regency overmantel mirror, a set of eight Hepplewhite dining chairs, a cast-iron garden set and a pair of garden benches.
Artists featured include Arthur Maderson, Mark O’Neill, William Harrington and Pauline Bewick.
BANDON RESULTS
A portrait of Miss Jeffrey attributed to Sir Joshua Reynolds sold for a hammer price of €380 at Hegarty’s sale in Bandon last Sunday. The Lakes of Killarney by James Beale made €700.
An emerald and diamond ring made €3,400 and a pair of diamond earrings made €3,800. A William IV card table made €1,380 and a marble-topped specimen table made €1,500.
