IF YOU would like your seasonal cheer delivered in a white carriage then Aidan Foley’s auction at Sixmilebridge, Co Clare, on Monday and Tuesday is a must-attend.

The sale will include part two of the Murray family collection from Limerick complete with the stagecoach used in pantomimes and to ferry Miss Ireland contestants and a selection of vintage whiskey and champagne from this pub- and hotel-owning family.

These will be included among 1,200 lots on Tuesday.

On Monday there will be a selection of books and boxed records, including old Rolling Stones albums from the 1960s and some 78s on the HMV Label.
