It's time to gradually move plants outside

Seeds of vegetable plants and hardy annuals which were sown indoors during February and March should be well up by now and the seedlings developing apace at the moment.

They are ready to be ‘hardened off’ and moved outside.

Do this slowly and over a week or two. Don’t be tempted to just land them outside as soon as you see a sunny day for it can still get cold at night.
