Cork Garden Club will host a talk by DJ Murphy on the topic, “Christmas cheer” on November 13 at 8pm in Ashton School.

Coachford Flower and Garden Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a social night in Griffin’s Garden Centre, Dripsey on November 19. Margaret Griffin will demonstrate ideas for Christmas. Non-members welcome.

Come along to a “farm to fork” food demonstration with nutritional therapist Michelle Ryan with Innishannon Flower and Garden Club, Wednesday, November 12, at 8pm in Barrett’s lounge.

Cobh Flower and Horticulture Club will hold its annual Mass for deceased members on Monday, November 3, at 8pm. All welcome. The club’s Christmas demonstration will be held on Wednesday, December 3, at the Commodore Hotel at 8pm. Floral Display by Eileen O’Brien AOIFA. Admission €10 with proceeds to local charities.

The Irish Garden Plant Society will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, November 4, at the SMA Hall Wilton, starting at 8pm. The talk, entitled ”The weird and wonderful world of a plantaholic”, will be given by Deborah Begley from Terra Nova Gardens. All welcome.

East Cork Flower Club is holding its AGM on Monday, November 4, at 7.30pm in St John the Baptist National School, Midleton. A talk on “How to revamp and update your wardrobe using well chosen accessories” will follow by Orlaith Long of ‘High Society’, Midleton.

Malcolm Kitt will demonstrate “Christmas delights” on Tuesday, Novermber 4, at 7.30pm at the Ursuline Secondary School. All welcome
