Time for some tea in the garden

The delicate, lilac flowers of the comfrey plant won’t look out of place in the flower garden — but beware, it runs riot through efficient seeding.

Time for some tea in the garden

Adding compost, seaweed dust and well rotted manure to soil improves its structure and results in a slow release of nutrients which plants avail of as they need them.

However, a liquid feed also known as tea, is taken up immediately by the plant thus giving an instant boost to your veggies during the growing season. Why buy liquid fertilising feeds when you can grow and make your own organic fertilising teas for free? Teas are super-easy to make and the most common are nettles, comfrey and seaweed.
