¦ Glenville Flower & Garden Club will hold its Easter demonstration by Sandra Jackson, AOIFA, in Kade’s Kounty at 8.30pm, on Tuesday, March 25. Everyone Welcome. We will also have a Mass for deceased members of our club at St Joseph’s Church, Glenville, on Friday, April 4 at 7.30pm.

¦ Ladysbridge and District Flower and Garden Club celebrates its 20th birthday this month and to mark the occasion will hold a Gala Floral Demonstration on the theme of ‘Twenty Years a Growing’ by Margaret Ahern an AOIFA demonstrator on Monday, March 24, at 8pm in Garryvoe Hotel. Please join us on the night, visitors, past members, all welcome. Club floral competition “Spring Birthday”. Raffle and tea.

¦ The Lough Flower & Garden Club are hosting a talk on ‘the Spring Garden’ by Willie Grainger of Greenpiece Nursery, Ballinhassig, at the SMA Centre, Wilton, next Tuesday, March 25, at 8pm. Everyone welcome. Visitors €5

¦ Free Vegetable Growing Class at The Secret Garden, Newmarket, Sunday, March 23, 3pm — ‘Getting The Most From Your Polytunnel’. ¦ A half-day workshop/bootcamp on wedding flowers: ‘Make and take wedding flowers for the DIY bride’ will take place at Carrigaline Community School on April 2 next from 1.30-6.30pm. Another workshop on church/venue flowers will take place on April 9 from 1.30-6.30pm in the same venue.
