Box clever in that box room

THERE’S a reason why the smallest room in the house is known as the box room: they’re notoriously hard to furnish in a way that includes everything you need.

Box clever in that box room

It was fine when all that was needed was a cot and later a kiddie bed with a night stand and mini-wardrobe and drawers. But then kiddie became a teenager in need of a larger bed, and a clothes-buying habit to accommodate.

Post-cot, the single bunk bed with storage or even a desk underneath is worth considering. If the box room is used by an adult, then you do need something more than a single bed. One measuring 4ft-wide gives room to roll over without rolling out, and won’t hog space like a standard 4ft 6in double.
