Prune or have your work cut out

TO prune or not to prune, that is the question.

Some say trees and plants should be left to their own devices. Others say Mother Nature needs a hand and that our secateurs benefit the health and looks of a tree, and also our harvests. Pruning establishes a good shape and structure on a tree, and encourages fruit by opening up the branches so that they have has access to sunlight and air to ripen.
